there is deep history of Elwood Livingston that said he left home at a very youn g age I can not remember if he was 13 or 16.. He played baseball and was said to be on a cirucut for black players..He said that he was so young that he barely remembered his family other than. His father Charles who was married to Sylvia Gamble. She died at a very young age along with one of her sons the same day.(plague).His family is rich in history for which I am his grand daughter Altheria Livingston Williams Gillu with 5 children living in Houston,Texas. Elwood lived in Mexia texas and was a minister of the gospel , pastoring churches. He had children one died at a very young age Roddis(maybe spelled wrong..He has 2 surviving daughters Geraldine (Austin) and Joyce(Houston)..My mother was Dorthy Mabelle. We do know some of ouur people and I have connected with many . We were taught that we come from a long line of peo-ple that loved the Lord and very proud of our heritage..I do remember the mention of Lucy names in our family tree..Glad to meet every Livingston because we are Livingston proud. Many of us are minister that carry the gospel of Jesus Christ.
